In order to allay fears from prospective tenants and property owners we now provide Meth Testing facilitation via independent third party sampling and laboratory testing for methamphetamine & pre-cursor presence in the properties we manage. There is currently no legal obligation to test rental properties for p-contamination prior to renting them out so this service is an optional service we can now offer to all Chic landlords. Chic recommends testing between tenancies and our third party provider promises a two working day turn around from receipt of sample at the testing laboratory. For peace of mind Chic recommends an on-going testing regime to minimise health and legal liability risks for landlords and tenants. Tested properties which are meth free or under the MOH remediation guideline limit can effectively be advertised as Meth Safe.
